Banish Misfortune

This CD of traditional Irish instrumentals features Catfish John's fiddle playing. In addition to the fiddle, he actually plays all of the other instruments on the album, which include: mandolin, guitar, celtic drum (or bodhran), bass and more. The tunes range from fast jigs and reels such as "Coleraine/Kesh Jigs" and "Ships are Sailing" to slower more beautiful melodies like "The Butterfly."
